I can not believe I had not written a post for our Floral Frida ... Well, here we go.
Floral Frida is the second Frida by Pichoniza * emerging precisely because Frida Tehuana (the first one) was an outright success. Its design is based on the famous cover of Vogue magazine with the beautiful Frida Kahlo through the lens of Toni Frissell, taken in 1937.

Researching about Frida's dresses, I can not say she had many black or dark clothes in her wardrobe, in fact, is quite the opposite. But for me, with this memory, Frida has "black" clothing. Totally false really, because her colors were bright and even light and pastel (hence, Frida Tehuana is pink and white), but it seems that black fits her perfectly.

There she is, little Floral Frida, with her distinctive very floral quaint hair. She became our Pichoniza* bright star, ranking numer one on sales. If you like this doll, seriously, purchase it! because once the floral fabric of the dress is run out, Floral Frida will move towards an inevitable metamorphosis, fate of all Pichoniza* dolls.
