Hola Amigos. Les presento a Juana Inés... De verdad quedó hermosa!

Este modelo está inspirado en Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz y ya estaba destinado a nacer pero no estaba planeado. Una amiga me dió la idea y de inmediato apareció el modelo en mi mente. Como siempre hice algo de investigación para ver cómo era el personaje, descubrí que su hábito era blanco con negro y que portaba una pintura en el pecho de la "Anunciación", mejor conocida como "Escudo de monja", que debía ser del tamaño de su cabeza... muy barroco por supuesto.

La estructura de la muñeca ya estaba lista, pues cuando hice a Frida Tehuana pensé que su "capita de tehuana" parecía de monja... el verdadero reto sería el escudo. La imágen blanco con negro que utilicé también ya existía, la diseñé cuando hice la "casita para gato". Paso a paso tomé objetos que ya tenía, como en un platillo improvisado donde tomas lo que encuentras en la alacena y al final queda para chuparse los dedos... De esa misma forma nace la pequeña Juana Inés.

Bienvenida al mundo Juana Inés, me encanta tu nombre. Sé que te gusta escribir y eres muy lista. Naciste en uno de esos momentos donde no soy yo quien diseña, es un "genio elusivo" a través de mí que quiere que aparezcas.

Hello friends. I present to you Juana Ines... She is really beautiful! 

This doll is inspired by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz and was destined to be born, but it wasn't planned. A friend gave me the idea and immediately the model appeared in my mind. As always, I did some research to know about the character, I discovered that her habit was black and white, carrying on the chest a paint of the "Annunciation", better known as "Nun shield" which should be the same size as her head ... very baroque of course.

The structure of the doll was already done, because when I made our Frida Tehuana, I thought her "tehuana coating" seemed a nun... the real challenge was the shield. The black and white image that I used also existed before, I designed it when I made my "Cat house". Step by step, I took objects that I already had, as an improvised dish where you take what you find in the cupboard and in the end, you finish with something delicious... In the same way, little Juana Ines was born.
